i think on an episode-by-episode basis, meakashi and tsumihoroboshi are still my favs, tatarigoroshi and minagoroshi i liked way more on this read than my first, onikakushi is still really cool, watanagashi is still pretty goot, and himatsubushi is still kinda nothingburger

the main difference is higurashi was my favorite vn after i first read it cus it was one of like. two vns id read at the time. Now that ive read like 10 of them i wouldnt call higurashi my number 1 (mayb not even top 3 depending on how i feel) but i still feel like i appreciate it so much more now

I still have matsuribayashi reread to get through so the final verdict remains to be seen but i feel like overall my opinion on higurashi has actually gone Up rather than gone down this time around. which is very surprising cus i was so worried abt not liking it as much as i did in 2020
