Today’s reading conveniently includes Rowling in its scope—specifically the feeling of having part of one’s identity stripped away when a beloved creator from childhood reveals her true, harmful, intolerant self. Once you’ve cleared H Potter off your shelves, may I recommend filling that space with the splendid fantasies of Diana Wynne Jones? Not only are her stories of magical education far more fun & better written than Rowling’s flabby books, but she is one of the ur sources who JKR stole from wholesale.

Just to reiterate: They put tariffs on uninhabited islands US does ZERO trade with (unless those penguins are trickier than we think) But they didn't put tariffs on four countries: NK, Cuba & Russia, Belarus Some1 suggested we don't do trade with them But we don't do trade with penguins either
