idk. 6 months for people to figure out that they screwed up last November seems like a short turnaround. Miles to go before we sleep.

Impossible to care less.

Maybe he isn’t behind his own policies. Big, if true.

It’s the same personal connection Bill Clinton had.

Yes, because the presidential approval is inconsequential compared to 435 House races. Or…

Not just anti political, but zero idea how government works. Like, at any level.

I go to LAX a half-dozen(?) times a year for work. Been to Dodger Stadium once and it’s amazing. Stayed downtown once.

They did all that. Anyway, the original question was if Ds have done anything to provide hope that they have the mettle & vision to meet these problems. And I’ll stand by my answer.

Not sure what that means. They set the record for impeachments in one Congress. So I do think they know what they’re doing. Individual by individual tactics can be quibbled with.

Reporter: I mean, Jake, it’s a lot fewer than 10 cars set on fire.”

Yes. imho they have the vision & mettle. They impeached Trump twice, including once at break neck speed. But they were in the majority Are they handling this moment as well? Probably not. But I also think many different paths for discussion come from that.

Yeah, it’s not what I had hoped for..

Covering politics not just as sport, but a video game. Media is irretrievably broken.

I was at an NCAA Tournament game 20 years ago and my team rallied to win. Random people eventually got upset with our section going wild. Will never forget one woman saying “these people are crazy” as she left. 😂

Because sometimes people have jobs which come with co-workers who you don’t agree with on everything, or many things, or in my case, most things.

I’m not sure why you think that person is a friend. And yes, it is a monopoly.

You’re not going to watch Wade Miley on Monday?

I wrote exactly what the person wanted. I never identified the person as he, either. I’m not sure what you’re trying to uncover. That person has many views with which i disagree.

Not sure where you came up with friend. I did not put that in my post.

I’m not sure that MAGA does deep dives into anything beyond pizza parlors and lizard people.

I know a MAGA/QAnon who wants universal healthcare administered by one private company, not the government. People are complex.

I think they are over represented. If I see a thread where they have taken over, I steer far away. In the other place, I might have said something. Just not worth it.

/8 Servility is both a choice and a habit. Journalists who don’t ask obvious questions or poke patent lies get into the habit of servility towards the state. Look where that’s got us.

I’m contemplating just following Phil because the rest of this place seems like it’s becoming the other place.

I agree about the post itself. IMHO we should put constant pressure on the media about how it covers him.

It’s tricky, imho. True, the post itself, no one cares. But Aaron is correct that The Media would have erupted in Civility Policing if Joe did something similar.

Your post was that Democrats can’t figure out how to connect, likening them to lecturing college professors. I enjoyed how many of my college professors presented lectures. Jamie Raskin is professorial but relatable because he’s authentic.

I enjoyed a lot of my college professors 🤷‍♂️
