Whether it's donating to a cause, going to a meeting or a march, not letting hate or disinformation go unchallenged, any little thing matters, especially when you're feeling overwhelmed by the weight of everything. You can't solve everything but you can help do something.

More broadly it showed support for all those under attack. Words & actions of those at the top are meaningful, especially now. We've seen some cower & cave in and seen some stand up & lead. I'm proud to work for one that stands up in the face of hate. (2/2)

I wonder if he even considered the possibility that Jesus may have had money riding on both of them.

And if nothing else, check in on those who are going to be most impacted by the hate. Let them know you're with them, you have their back and you're there for them. The next four years are going to be a shit show, but that doesn't mean we can't fight back. (4/4)

These people are cowards and don't expect to be called on their crap. Do it. Especially if you're in my demographic, push back, flex, let them know we aren't going to cower to them. (3/4)

It's going to feel helpless. But we can all do something, and that will look different for everyone. I encourage you to push back. Hear your neighbor spouting hate? Call them on it. Your representatives aiding in the destruction? Call them on it. Hear someone spreading lies? Call them on it. (2/4)

I feel like staying upbeat may be too much to ask, and staying sane is going to have to be enough. I try to stay in the moment as much as I can and, despite my hate of cliches, taking it one step at a time.

Maybe. We also heard a couple days ago that Gavin Lux wasn't going to be traded. So who knows.

Because the Reds have a million infielders and they've been able to connect on trades recently.

Yes, the signing in almost made me say "forget it, not worth it."

Makes no sense to put all kids into one box. I'm encouraging Ellie to do college - ultimately it's her choice - because she's never shown any interest or ability in any trade-type skill. But if she was all about being a mechanic or electrician or whatever, why would I push her in another direction?
