Are they offering an immunization against folks from the USA infecting your nation? I’d imagine that would be popular too. Not to make light of the need for immunization in the face of lies being told about them.

That sounds really tasty. Been a while since I’ve had tuna salad, might need to try it. I’ll skip the sweet relish and go from there.

So they reskinned the Daleks.

Going to have to see what happens when I try to commandeer the PA and sing the Horst-Wessel-Lied on my next Southwest flight.

I spent two full days judging other people’s children by the hundredth of a second. And they liked it. (I’m a swimming official and I did the times management at the meet this weekend.)

I’d eat this. Although probably with the egg over medium as I’m not huge on liquid yolk. Don’t know what it’d do for a hangover but my taste buds would rejoice.

Asking the obvious here: have you reset the sensors? There’s usually a button on dash somewhere to do that. Have to do it while parked. At least that’s how my ‘17 Mazda works.

I feel like it’s on the Yankees to not acquire someone who wears their hair in a way they don’t like. Or to negotiate it in their contract. Just issuing stupid rules makes you sound like you work for the Trump administration.

Nearly life-long Bruins fan here, and I have a total man-crush on PK. He knows how to emphasize the entertainment value of hockey.

It’s a moment of reckoning for Boston University, for sure. 5 National Championships in hockey. And the Med School announced today that Bobby Hull had CTE. Changing to women’s rules would help, and drive the purists crazy.

It’s a great day for hockey.

Kluwe has never been afraid to speak his mind. He’s a punter, knows he needs to dumb it down for the rest of the team.

He’s just an ass. No other explanation needed.

Depends on the nature of your 27 years, but two pages is fine. Just make sure you make every word count and don’t make it two pages if it doesn’t need to be.

I’m working a swim meet, but it is designed to get folks home before Jon Batiste’s National Anthem. I myself may take a walk on the beach.

And that is the point. If you just need to get to the UK, right now, sure, there’s RyanAir. If the journey is as important as the destination, then your path is awesome.

It’s stunning how reasonable King Orange can make Doug Ford seem. Kind of how Hitler made Stalin seem “not that crazy.”

Data science criticism: line charts that aren’t anchored at 0 excessively exaggerate small fluctuations. Dropping from 45,000 to 44,000 is a drop in the bucket.
Financial industry rebuttal: in todays market of highly-automated quant analysis, a small drop is going to feed back fast into a large one

Minnesota State Fair. (Probably Iowa and Wisconsin too.) hard to explain but literally as described: Tater Tot Hotdish (hotdish = casserole), encased in a coating that holds it together on a stick. Just one of the multitude of foods served “on a stick” at the Fairs.

I feel it’s basic ‘Murican virtue signalling. Context: I’m a US citizen and resident who has never used Tik Tok and have no need. If you can’t reach me on FB, Insta, Threads, LinkedIn, or BlueSky, that’s not my problem.

Well, this is an inconvenient truth. The University could stand on moral high ground with the elimination of football. Now can it do the same with ice hockey? A much more complicated question for introspection.

I feel like that’s actually crossing Blandford Street. West-facing, Warren Towers on the left, can’t be from BU Central.
