I’d say good riddance mate (to X, not you). All that site is now is state sponsored news outlet supporting MAGA, Trump, Farage, etc. staying on there aids them. Welcome over here!

Totally agree! Absolute awful football. Not that either of us would have an easy time in the PL, but that type of football would be ripped apart up there. You can’t go for 0-0’s in the PL

Ah sandbagging! The most mythical phrase every year. Teams don’t deliberately sand bag. There’s reasons behind everything they do. They’ll run lower PU modes because the amount of mileage they do over these 3 days is close 5x a normal race weekend and low fuel runs don’t gain teams much info

I’d more say down time in the garage is a bigger indicator of an issue rather than too few laps.

With the reliability and stability of these cars, you’d be looking for 120 laps minimum in a day, and more in the region of 150+. Potentially there’ll be fewer laps on Day 1 with system checks but most if not all teams will probably have completed these already in their filming days.

It can vary, but the rookies now have had much more car time with the TPC (Testing Previous Cars) rule than rookies did in the past. Also the younger generation seem to benefit more from sim running than some of the older lot.

Give yourself realistic expectations. It’s not going to be interesting a lot of the time. Look out for cars that seem to be struggling in terms of balance. Is that a consistent thing or the time of day? Do other cars have suffer at the same time? Look for cars on race sims and the tyre deg

A very rudimental one. One run on each isn’t enough to get conclusive info.

For aero runs with rakes I imagine.

It’s been C1 to C5 for a good number of years. They introduced a C0 a couple of years back as they hadn’t had enough chance to test the new C1, so weren’t sure of its performance but in the end it was fine and the C0 wasn’t needed.

1) Bahrain is a track that’s hard on the tyre. Considering the C6 didn’t last a lap of Abu Dhabi, it’s got no chance here.
2) It’s only one set. So can’t do any form of back to back or understanding of it. Lock up into T1 and you’re done.

Works every time! But can’t get complacent. Fully expect to concede in the 90th minute and not win again all season 😉

I’ll have to take other peoples word for it because I have no plans to watch any of it

Take That were huge in the 90s. Robbie isn’t even part of the band anymore. They’re not exactly “current”

Someone taught me the best way to distinguish between the two using time. 1 million seconds is ~11.5 days. 1 billion seconds is ~31.7 years!

Good stuff. You’ve got to find something to do before predicting the championship order based on 1L in a couple of weeks

The route to keeping out Reform goes through convincing Lib Dem’s, Greens and moderate Tories - not trying to win over people on the far right.

Who’d have thought that a billionaire would cut costs by getting rid of the lowest paid employees.

I feel politically homeless right now. Yeah, the Lib Dem’s/Greens cater to me outlook, but they’re not viable options while we have FPTP and a MSM that gives them no time of day despite having over 10x as many MPs as Reform

It’s looking more and more likely everyday. My only hope, probably more out of delusion than anything else, is that the right-wing populism being encouraged by Trump/Musk is shown to crash and burn over the next 4 years, leading to a more sensible GE over here

It’s really quite depressing that they even have a voice and then that isn’t challenged. I’m in a proper slump in the way the world seems to be heading

Same. I’m like, if we concede first 10 mins in the second half we’re going to be up against it

Sorry, not sure if you’re agreeing or disagreeing with me? But I know it’s hard work, I worked on one for five years, loved it!

Exactly like that. A farm has to be worth more than £3m before the inheritance tax even comes into effect. And there’s lots of way round it, such as gifting it before you die. As a comparison, if you don’t own a farm, you pay inheritance tax on an estate worth more than £325k.

It’s given as a foul in the penalty area 9 times out of 10. Ref was clueless. Almost like he was trying to make it more of a contest in the second half with some of his decisions.
