Utter chaos.

But remember when you were a kid and you could fall out of a tree, bounce off the concrete, and the only consequence was you were going to get in trouble for tearing your new pants? Welcome to the opposite side of life.

“But you’re so ugly. Where’s your beautiful skull? And tank top and jeans? Why not a cute hooded robe?”

Comics, TV, movies... escape from the horrors of the world. The West Wing makes me feel good about public service. There has to be someone who gies a shit about US. Right?

Judging the movies simply as comedies, for me, Clerks is easily the funnier of the two. And while not as deep as Dogma it’s more relatable. I’ve been an early 20 something wasting my potential. I’ve over analyzed Star Wars. I’ve never fought a shit monster in a dive bar.

Dogma is a lot of fun. It’s a very comic book movie but not based on any actual comic. I’d place it in third place behind Clerks and Chasing Amy.

/pedantic/ Kitty was 13 (and a half) when she joined. She turned 14 when they were in space fighting the Brood./pedantic/ And my middle school self would have fought you for eyeing my girl.

This movie has multiple "that's fucked up" moments. That's a good thing.

I'm not a big Daredevil guy, but of what I've sampled over the years, this mini is my favorite.

Ellie from WhoCulture pointed out that it might be telling that they were credited Introducing [redacted] rather than the usual Introducing [redacted] AS THE DOCTOR. At any rate they’re probably only doing a few specials like Tennant’s 14. The hunt for the actual next Doctor is underway, I’m sure.

I’d say that making his past some big secret contributed. It wasn’t that his past was unknown he was just the kind of guy who never volunteered info. When the X-Men went to Japan… We didn’t know you spoke Japanese. You never asked.

But Eric didn't even graduate high school. G.E.D. Fate?

Great cover! Back before Wolverine's power creep ruined the character.

Yawn. Zero interest in either.

The definitive Hulk writer! And so much more. And his Star Trek work-both in comics and prose-was so good. RIP

With Peter David it’s not just that he wrote great and inspirational runs but he was-until recently-prolific. But with all the work he pumped out he still relying on crowd funding in the end just to help with crushing medical debt. We need to do better.

Love the city in the distance. Pretty much the only view of Earth we got in TOS.

In the early 90’s he’s lucky he escaped with a cross over. He could have been “revamped” with a trenchcoat and a gun.

I understand what they were going for in the early TNG days but it just didn’t work. The Ferengi came into their own on DS9 when there was time to craft a more nuanced performance.

A recent move finally allowed me a shelf large enough for the over sized hardcover. Previously I just left it near the front door for home defense purposes. Anyone smacked upside the head with this tome is NOT getting up.

The pre-Moore Saga of the Swamp Thing was a solid book unfairly looked over in favor of its more famous later books.

This is THE X-Men book. Absolutely essential. My copy is in rough shape, but it's a 1st printing and I'd never give it up.

I liked Andor although not as much as many. But the penultimate batch of episodes, 7-9 of season 2...peak Star Wars.
