Putting punitive tariffs on Mexico right now is about the dumbest thing you can do. Since 2022 Mexican labour is cheaper, younger, & better educated than Chinese labour. The factories have already begun moving to Mexico from China. This will be a decade of Mexican prosperity, no tariffs can stop it.
