All you need to know is that no matter what they claim later, clearly this person tried to make a comparison of the same amount of time - but their ability to read, write, and understand basic concepts like "1" and "2" has degraded to such a degree from AI dependence that they fucked even that up.

I pulled Vivi and a Buster Sword from my Final Fantasy MtG Play Booster box, so we're fine over here. Time to convert my Mizzix "Big X" deck to something even more devious!

I'm occasionally using guides to get a general direction or help with a specific boss, but I am beating Sekiro. Don't know if I have it in me to finish, but I'm further than I ever thought I would get.

Honestly, this is me with my novels. Large creative projects in general need marketing muscle and large platforms to achieve anything close to discoverability. Unless you go viral or fill a very specific niche, you're going to get lost.

Fextralife now presents pop-up ads that force redirects to gambling sites, which is great, because they bought up all the good sites and now any information you need is held hostage by this bullshit. Sometimes I think the internet was a mistake.

Games journalism died the day the average gamer decided that every game has a "correct" score, and it's the responsibility of every reviewer to "get it right" and make the right points and assign the right number to match what everyone else is saying, or else.

Between this and stuff like Space Invaders' ability to boot a Super NES ROM off of a Game Boy cartridge, I am convinced that the SGB was the most unspeakably powerful device of the 1990s and no one actually realized it

Just say "this location is in a challenging neighborhood and we want to make things more difficult for the unhoused" and be done with it. dailyhive.com/vancouver/co...

Today is Summer Game Fest! Remember, you can demand a better industry while also being hyped and excited for new game announcements from your favorite studios and peers. You can hold those feelings independently and simultaneously. It's doable. You contain multitudes. I believe in you.

😅

The convenience store across from me has a Kirkland cheesecake in the dairy cooler. They're selling loose slices for $3.50 each. In this economy, we do whatever we can.

Happy Switch 2 launch to all who celebrate!

OH MY FUCKING GOOOODDDDDDDDD MATSUNO YOU ARE THE ETERNAL GOAT

Say his full name Krypto Rug Pull the Superdog

See you at 1pm PDT! Boy we sure hope there's no big video games coming out today!

You see so many posts on threads like “I published my book, I promote it on insta, etc why have I barely sold any copies, I did everything right” and I just. The people who are exploding immediately did not do it that organically. They paid. They are paying for it to happen.

Imagine outsourcing all your thinking to a guy who still only has two Pokémon badges after 80 hours of gameplay.

worth remembering that AI only favors emdashes because it stole our collective preference for them

"If you can't do less, do it slower" is such good advice. Burnout has left me feeling like I can't do anything anymore. I can. I just need to be okay with something like "paint a single Kill Team" taking several months instead of a weekend. Five minutes here and there is better than quitting.

Since I'm doing novel edits and can only game in transit or on lunch break, I've been playing Final Fantasy III on the PSP. FF3 is one I skipped, and I wish I hadn't. I would have appreciated FFXIV a lot more if I got all those references.

Oh good finally

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

Me and my fantasy novels about giant mechanical constructs and transforming magic knights

"the creator of Game Offline Lore has used an AI version of his voice without his knowledge or consent. 'The thought that someone else would do it in order to copy my persona in this way—it's just so weird and invasive,'” Oh, is it? Is it about consent? Are we finally catching on?

Indie authors need your reviews. Just...remember that for us, okay?
