#CallOfDuty in 2025

Seems like all the major Departments are telling OPM to pound sand. Is this the start of fighting between the various internal factions within the Trump admin? Maybe. We'll have to see. Can't imagine Musk is too happy about all this though.

That demo was about two hours and it totally convinced me to get the game. Can't go wrong when do of the best VN authors of all time join forces. Can't wait for the full release.

I have a feeling she's gonna awaken some things in people.

She's great

I am 100% getting this game.

also the memetic lineage of arcane nonsense that travels through generations of the rich, just complete dogshit notions that were empty from the get-go. from phrenology to roko's basilisk, i am so sick of a grifting mystic infecting the rest of us 150 years later when this shit bursts like a pimple

bloodborne really got it right with a group of bizarre, elite nonces who believe exclusively in failed mistakes working day and night to ruin everything for everyone

WAIFU

We got a real contender for biggest siscon of all time in the demo.

My wife while we were watching Severance tonight: "yesssss messy old man yaoi, this show really does have everything."

MY BOY DON'T MISS

OH BOY

Really have to stress the most successful explicitly leftist politician not directly part of some liberal structure in recent memory is a state representative who couldn't stop posting and then left to go do troubling sex shit in his commune.

lol

Oh, you all laughed at that cybersecurity training. O,h it was SO boring you said. Why do I NEED to do this annual training you said. WELL LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW

DOGE is like if Fyre Festival was a government agency.

It's a lot like how everyone pretends to like their coffee black when asked but most people prefer cream and sugar with their coffee. Like...people lie on surveys or present "their ideal self" on surveys! There is a reason Steam is flooded with Eroge.

I once worked on a visual novel game where all the surveys and focus groups said that nobody wanted romance, they only wanted mystery and sci-fi. Then 75+% of clicks in-game went to stories with explicit romantic or sexy themes. www.pcgamer.com/gaming-indus...

Baldur's Gate 3 was hugely successful and one of the horniest games I have ever played.

My working theory is that Musk and Vance are actually running the show. Trump is our Hindenburg, drooling with his brain fried most of the time who is told to sign things and it rolled out before adoring fans so what is left of him is convinced that people love him.

I'm so sick and tired of everything, man.

I am inundated with messages from federal workers who are feeling frantic, furious and fed up after receiving Musk’s email and reading his threatening X post. The psychological warfare is the point.

I think the most fascinating (but not particularly deep) thing I've seen with the Mangione fandom is the need people have for him to be their guy and the evidence for it just is not there. He is, unironically, closer to the Zizians both socially and ideologically than anything particularly leftist.

Dan Caine, Trump’s new replacement for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reportedly told Trump, “I love you, sir. I think you’re great, sir. I’ll kill for you, sir.” He also put on a MAGA hat, despite it violating military protocol.

I'm very curious why Gen Z has a big jump here. How did our perceptions of wealth and financial success come to differ so drastically in a single generation?

Probably a great deal less time required than a whole term!

even if you do not give 2 flying fucks about sports this is an excellent episode. I had no idea how insidious sports gambling has become

I love this so much. "it's like nazi germany out here. what should you do about it? book club."

russiagate is a theory like gravity

Guy who doesn’t even respond to the mothers of his children: reply to my email or you’re fired

A lot of baffling arguments in this thread, but I think what it all comes down to is trying to litigate geopolitics via the lens of American intra-coalitional identity politics signalling. Same frame that leads to deciding that Ukraine is doing imperialism against Russia by not surrendering.

They do Nazi salutes because they’re Nazis.

sorry flopulists, the international banking technocrat gets the girl

Ah. Seems we are getting ready to watch for the smoke again, huh? Francis has been the best Pope in my life time to be sure and it'll be interesting to see which way the College decides to go whenever this next Election occurs. It'll be a defining moment for the Church.

just a total and utter collapse of the civ-mil norms governing America so far

Humorless liberal scolds are, as far as I can tell, the ones terrorizing Republican congressmen when they make public appearances so until you do that instead of posting jokes, shut the fuck up

Marker: If there is a ‘fever breaking’ moment for Trump (recession, shocker special election result, etc) and it becomes clear that there isn’t going to be a thousand year trumpenreich, you’re going to see a scramble of belated efforts from places like SCOTUS to prove they are totally independent

This is peak masculinity right here.

I do think some places exist that would print an feature on Elon's drug use while running amok in our government, but in case not, if you're a reporter with enough info to write one or the ability to get that info, @liberalcurrents.com is happy to publish it. email: writers @ liberalcurrents dot com
