Fortunately all of the upper management involved are now gone. You can bet they spent the money defending the indefensible in an effort to protect their reputation … nothing more!

Unfortunately, it shows the power of the Jewish/Israeli lobby in the country. That they have direct access to the upper management of the ABC is one thing but being able to have them act of what are basically minor matters is another. This influence needs a full investigation as to why.

What is it with these extremist 'religious' types. Not a moral bone in their body.

If your phone has no signal, it also has no communication with your provider. To change the message the phone needs to communicate with the service provider.

The bastards have announced that will be holding an “investigation”, AKA whitewash.

Makes sense. I hadn’t thought of that aspect. Thanks.

But why?
comment in response to

It goes to show the power of the Jewish/Israeli lobby world wide. Any form of criticism of Israel is met with the old antisemitic bullshit. They have governments bluffed and receive unwarranted support for their aggressive actions.

Fully supported by Marles. Obviously looking after his post parliament employment opportunities. Same prick who refused to have post election public forum in his local electorate.

I’ll bet it was a Valencia. All you can get here now are navels. Why? When Valencia’s are so much nicer!

If the convoluted and repetitive responses to Sally Sara's questions on Radio National breakfast this morning is any indication, he is way out of his depth and his ability to settle any dispute with words would be severely limited.

He is just making sure he will have a job in the Defence Industry once he quits parliament.

Don’t forget Marles’ involvement. Looking after the post parliament employment prospects.

The sub deal was always a crap deal. That prick Morrison nicely wedged the ALP with it, and Albo was/ is too weak to cancel it. Now it will be the US that pulls the plug. Until Australian decisions are made in our interest we will be stuck holding the coat tails of others

I have done the same Chris and haven't received any feedback at all. Also, same result from AEC on local MP's failure to correctly authorise advertising material. It seems these bodies, like the NACC and ACMA are toothless tigers.

Simply because their Jewish benefactors would label any action seen to criticise the actions of Israel as antisemitic.

Thanks very much for your efforts, Eric. This is a subject that must not be brushed under the carpet. No doubt the Brethren would be claiming charitable status for their 'religious' activities - under the Charities Act, they are banned from supporting or endorsing political parties.

The media don’t see the irony in quoting Canavan’s pro-coal ravings, whilst always fail to mention the Canavan family’s involvement in the coal industry.

Henderson comes from that section of the Liberal Party that firmly believes they were born to rule and that Labor have no right to be in government regardless of the election outcome.

The Nationals will always be hamstrung in what they can say re renewables. When their major supporter are the miners and the exploiters of our resources, any suggestion of limiting their operation would, no doubt, result in them seeing their support and therefore funding disappear.

Ruling out a bailout for another “for profit” private operator is good news. These situations provide an opportunity for the government to nationalise the enterprise. Profiting from the provision of health service should be ruled out.

You are spot on! But it won’t happen. Albo seems to cosy up to the wrong people, the Murdochs and Alan Joyce were good examples from the past. And of course ignoring the 500,000 + signatures petitioning for a RC into the media.
comment in response to

The so-called "independent" ABC is so scared of being labelled antisemitic that they pussy foot around the Isreal-Palestine issues, preferring not to engage. We saw how they rolled over when the Jewish lobby complained about Antoinette Lattouf.

Wow! Such definitive statements !!! Weak as piss! Action is required. Stop exports to Israel and expelled the ambassador, show Australia is real pissed off with the on going slaughter

Wong has lost the respect of the people with her piss weak “regrettable” and “concerning” responses to the atrocities being committed by Israel. She seems totally scared of the Jewish lobby.

Also going for a taxpayer funded trip to cosy up to Netanyahu in Israel on the eve of an election being called was a bad look

If Albanese can’t see that he was well and truely wedged by Morrison with the stupid decision to sign up for submarines at great cost and no firm supply date, then he must have his eyes closed.

Absolutely agree. Opinions and “manipulated” news dressed up as news items should be banned

Toughen up or replace ACMA, limit multi media ownership in a single market (eg: Perth), wind back the rules on single ownership that the prick Howard introduced.

I believe you are correct. With the LNP so short on talent and no hope of winning government in under of 2 terms, many will be looking for greener pastures already.

Bandt foolishly allowed Max Chandler-Mather to do the running with his impractical ideas and blocking Labor’s moves on housing. Bandt seemingly realised too late that he was being sidelined by C-M.

Terrible decision by the voters of Goldstein … yet another right wing prick with a born to rule mentality who would be unemployable in the real world.

Most of the media are not used to starting a sentence with the word “Labor”. They still have the “Peter Dutton says” mind set.
comment in response to

I wouldn’t count on it. They’ll all be home licking their wounds, thinking about that 25 cent “saving” on petrol that Dutton promised.

The movie industry as a whole lost its way some years ago. Superheroes, endless remakes & pre-quals and animated features are about all they produce. A check of the number of cinema closures will confirm.

Let’s start by strengthening ACCC, NACC and other bodies who hand out the let lettuce leaf penalties. Surely, the results of the last 48 hours has enabled Albo to grown a backbone!

Great to see. The despicable Dutton actually made the comment a few months ago that Ali was using her disability to gain “the sympathy vote” . I’m not in her electorate, but I’m pleased to say I donated to her campaign
comment in response to

The ravings of Max Chandler-Mather about housing, and his uncompromising and impractical ideas was certainly a factor. Allowing him to be a spokesman at the expense of Bandt was a major error by the Greens. He has lost his seat, which may be a blessing in disguise for the Greens when they regroup.

Many of the LNP senators are there not for what they can contribute, but because of family and /or old school contacts. Many of them are never heard of from one election to the next.
comment in response to

Dutton’s concession speech was generous and gracious towards Ali France. The complete opposite to his comments months back that she was using her disability to gain the sympathy vote. Glad to see the end of the prick.

Ok, I know he’s a senator, but really who the fuck us he? Seems to have nothing of substance to add. Please get him off, unless he happens to be a mate if Kim Williams of course.
