I can't think of a better sound in the world tbh #discgolf

I think there is certainly an element of virtue signalling with protests like this, but I couldn't disagree more with the idea that there's no difference. Just look at the data.

I'm sorry, but the only aspect of it that is close to gender neutral is putting. There's a reason there's such a high scoring disparity between the FPO and the MPO, and why they play different layouts on the same courses. Let's not kid ourselves.

I've heard a lot of good things, looking forward to hitting some trees with it 😂

No problem, keep your chin up 👍

It sounds like you have anxiety about performing well. My advice is to not think about your score so much and just enjoy playing the game. If you have friendly card mates, be chatty between holes, it'll make the round feel a bit more casual and that might help you.

I didn't really notice it before, but the amount of detail in this stamp is insane

Yeah, I understand why they don't specify on the tour coverage. I'm always just curious to see how pros throw or use molds that I bag, or that I should consider bagging. Korver definitely has good insight, I like when she's with Perkins, I feel like he can get her to be a bit more personable.

Definitely! It was fun seeing the players having to navigate inconsistent conditions and develop their games/learn new bags. I really like the booth commentary with Paul and Luke, too. Especially like the fact that they point out all the discs being used by each player 🙌

Absolutely! All the bogeys I had today were from bad breaks (rollaways) while running birdie putts that I normally don't get. But I would rather that than just ultra safe pars where I never had the opportunity to score.

100%, I wish every company had that outlook. Excited for the new tour season to start!

Discraft has made some really awesome moves this summer. Good to see a company with vision that's actually thriving in the space.

Haha no problem! And I see what you're saying, one thing that might help with balance is taking a slightly smaller outstep on your bracing leg to eliminate the amount of ground your body/head has to cover, or slowing down your run-up. About to do some field work myself, thanks for the motivation!

But overall you should be pretty happy, timing seems good and you're getting a good brace/finding the pocket. Good luck in the upcoming season 👍

It's more noticeable in the side view upon release, but very fractionally (the movement of your disc reveals it a bit in my screenshot). I personally find nose angle is one of the first technical things that gets rusty after a long break from playing, unless you happen to have a net and tech disc.

Overall you're doing well. The biggest thing I'm noticing (and is something I constantly struggle with) is your disc is coming out nose up (on both backhand and forehand) as you release which is costing you distance. Part of that is your pull through comes from low to high a bit too much.

Possibly the tightest flex line I've ever thrown in the woods. This round convinced me that the Crave is my favourite disc to throw lol

Most elevated teepad I've ever thrown off, was really happy to see my FD land in the fairway. The locals were laughing at us because apparently only tourists play from this tee, lol whatever it was fun!

Fun wide, slight hyzer with the Wraith 😁

Avenger SS again, honestly thought I was heading for chains, but I'll take a bullseye on this hole any day!

This is one of my best rips off the tee with my Avenger SS

Hard to tell without the audio, but the wind was absolutely ripping. I was really happy with my disc selection and reading of the wind. Another satisfying flight (sister missed recording my release on this one too 🤦🏻♂️😅)

My sister missed recording my run up on this, but I loved the floaty flight of this shot. Parked!

Pretty good cards too, about to watch the Gannon, Ricky, AB one.

I hear you. My only gripe with the live coverage is I wish the production quality was better and more consistent. It feels a bit too sanitized/stiff sometimes, like it's trying to imitate the ball golf broadcast experience too much, which is why I prefer the VOD cutdowns by Jomez, Go Throw, etc.

That's a great year to have started! My first Worlds was 2022 with McBeth chasing down and beating Gossage for his 6th title, a lot of drama and so many clutch putts.

Gotta be Worlds, although last year's was not very exciting because Isaac ran away with it early and the field didn't play particularly well to keep it interesting
