Look to Israel as an example. It took less than a generation for Jews to throw off the yoke of oppression and dominate a region because according to the Bible, Jews are the "true" inheritors of the land. How quickly Israel became that which they hated. We must reject this future.

There's nothing wrong with being an immigrant, but I reject the label Immigrant or Settler. I did not immigrate, I was born here. I have distant ancestors who were brought here from Africa in chains. Others have been here over 10,000 years. Others, only 150. I'm a true American & so are immigrants.

The Nazis said Jews were not "true" Germans because they were Semitic and they considered them immigrants. This is a dangerous road to go down.

So many things wrong w/ defining a "True" any kind of person based on who their parents are. Everybody deserves dignity & not to be made to feel like they don't belong for any reason but their own choices and actions.

It's sad what we have to put in a contract. Also: everyone needs to know that all contracts are negotiable, including employment contracts. I've negotiated for better employment contract terms throughout my career, and I've never been hired as a manager or executive.

I logged in to my 401k account, which allows me to have a setting where I can choose funds myself. So I went to their funds list and picked filters for the types of funds I wanted to invest in. You can also sell what you have and move it to the new set of funds, but there may be a waiting period.

Nice shot! You almost never see the female's tail feathers like that IRL to say the least of in a photo.

6/N Are those you couldn't reach on Fridays still working there? If so... again, management problem. People who shirk, that has to show up in reviews. Check your hiring, performance, promotion & retention policies, check turnover/morale. Otherwise you can't talk about effectiveness of #wfh

5/N "And don't give me this shit that work-from-home-Friday works," Dimon said. "I call a lot of people on Fridays, and there's not a goddamn person you can get a hold of."
The attitude of your workers reflects the quality of management. Think about that, Jamie. It's top-down.

4/N Anyway..."A lot of you were on the f*ing Zoom and you were doing the following," Dimon said in the recording, "looking at your mail, sending texts to each other about what an asshole the other person is, not paying attention, not reading your stuff."
Sounds like a hiring/management problem.

A complaint to the #CFPB forced my husband's mortgage lender to restore his payments & credit rating after an incompetent employee tanked it & possibly put him at risk of foreclosure by removing 6 months of payments into some weird stash account. This is what The White House is against.

On setup you should be asked what kind of privacy you want. 1) "Share everything, I don't care", 2) "Only with my contacts", 3) "I am super paranoid, share nothing without asking me." Then you can get the option of tweaking the settings later. If you skip setup, privacy is turned up to 11.

We're at 45 minutes, folks! I think a force boot is in order. It's sad how many times I have to do this.

oh wow, I just saw this and literally 20 minutes ago finished watching this video. I know that "crazy" is impolite but basically this is the age of crazy people. I feel like this is both 1932 and the fall (or should I say gradual, tortuous decline) of Rome all over again.

You too, huh? Also, the latest OS X update "helpfully" turned it on for me...again.

The platform can't solve the seduction of impressing everyone with a clever takedown. I feel the draw, too; I'm constantly having to check myself. The engagement features are part of the problem. It's really hard to stay true to long-term values against the immediate reward of "likes".
