It feels so weird that the people who usually officially meet to choose the vaccine for the coming year won't unofficially meet and unofficially suggest next year's guess. Then the people who usually follow through, kinda just prep based on the qualified guess from citizens. I muse, hopefully.

It can’t hurt to go to your doc right now and check your titers (antibodies) for all your childhood vaccines. A quick blood draw and they can see if your body still has the necessary antibodies to fight. And if not you can get your vaccines updated. I did it recently, it was super easy.
