After a tip-off from a wild camper, we went to investigate a recent moorland burning incident on Dartmoor this weekend. It's in an SSSI & SAC, on peat over 40cm deep, & on land belonging to... Alexander Darwall. So did @naturalengland.bsky.social, DEFRA and Darwall give permission for this burn?
