🎉Happy Birthday to Heinrich Kley, who was born on this day way back in 1863. Kley was a German illustrator, who gained popularity with his energetic pen & ink drawings in "Youth" art magazine. His work was collected in a series of sketchbooks--which are still in print, over a century later!

Some concept art I did for Annapurna’s Open Road back in 2019. I did some early stuff when the setting was still in the 60s. This art style pitch was Sort of a 3d version of a 60s advertising illustration look with lots of simplification and lost information that still retained depth.
