I got a gold medal in my 200 meter race and a bronze medal in my 400 meter race for snowshoeing during the Michigan Winter Special Olympics Games.

I finally paired all of the Tarot cards with different Taskmasters, assistants, and contestants. There are a lot of them, so it wasn't easy. I picked people from the versions from the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden. Now, I just to need to create the cards.

I'm excited for the Special Olympics Winter Games in Michigan. They will happen a week from tomorrow. I will be running the 200 meter and 400 meter in snowshoeing. I feel like something amazing will happen during these games and the following summer games.

I'm doing my best to remain positive, although somedays are harder than others. It's even harder trying to figure what to say, in person and online. I will continue to live the best I can, for I can only control my own narrative. It's hard though when you're worried about others.

One thing to do is to take one step at a time. Find a place where you feel safe. Cry if you need to. Hold your family and friends close. Look for positive memories of the past and hold them tight. Find events to look forward to in future. It's okay to not be okay. We will be okay.

It's okay to have days where you feel overwhelmed, scared, or uncertain about the future. Take one day at a time, find solace in your friends and family if need be, and don't ever lose hope. We never know what will happen the next day, let alone the next four years. We can get through this.
