Like... why? What's wrong with giving up and doing something else? Why do people shame those who understand they made a mistake?

I agree, but then again, if they did give her a lover, a woman works too. My post is about people being outraged by the choice of the lover, not the fictional relationship as a whole. I do prefer facts over fiction in biographic novels and movies.

That's the thing. That is a complete taboo topic same as self harm. We can talk about violence and everything, about slicing someone else into pieces, but, Goddess forbid, someone says they made a little cut in their own arm. This is all so hypocritical.

It shouldn't be a crime and we should be given a decent, safe and peaceful death. Those of us who would want this opportunity sometimes go for "do it yourself" approach, but sadly it often ends with no real end, just lasting injury and even worse suffering. We shouldn't be left alone with this.

One of the best writers.

Wonderful! Love it.

It is, but in movies and books we can explore things we don't really want to happen, yet they are captivating still. It can reveal a hidden desire, for example, for destruction, even if nobody would do something like that in real life.

I am happy about you. That you have hope and courage. You make the world a better place, but there are others like me, who deep down are done. Not actively. I don't want to harm anyone. Its just that nudging feeling. A possibility to be free of trying to hold on.

Not really, but I am sorry you feel this way.

Mine is too, but there are moments when the pointlessness gets to me and then I have these thoughts... Post-apocalyptic or blatantly apocalyptic stuff. Just to tear it all down. Maybe start anew, maybe not...

Everyone has their own reasons for liking this stuff, but I think that deep down everyone has at least thought - what if we could just let it all go? I believe everyone had that thought at one moment or the other. What if we all gave up.

Anne Rice for me. It looks all glamorous, but somehow I just see myself in her various creatures. But, being a proud freak, I might not be the prime example of human nature.

Its complicated. From my perspective there are still many problems, but overall yes, an improvement, but many would disagree.

No, its ok to ask. I just want to keep it to myself, that's all :)

Not ALL Americans, I know.

I don't live near the border, so I don't know, but people are stupid and their pranks even more.

Well, I don't own a gun, but even if I did, I would call the authorities not shoot someone who might be doing a prank or something like so many in US had done. Killed people who mistook their house for their friend's house or something.

That is a very private matter, but I put in my own book that was banned from Latvian libraries, I added one more children's book that shaped me, and I added a book that symbolizes my trans journey. I sacrificed what I felt like I could part with.

I would be suspicious if they would walk through my garden, but I cannot imagine someone shooting at them. Dogs could get them though. Greetings back from my 1/4 Estonian part :)
