I stayed up until 3:30am reading this (on my phone so not logged in but!!! I'm commenting here!!) and oh my god, this was brilliant. Truly masterful weaving of canon into something far better. I'm replacing the game's story with this in my brain immediately.

Shoutout to Minfilia who only ever called him to say 'awesome, come back home to talk in person' when needed btw. She got him. Later linkpearl calls like 'wol describes the situation' no he doesn't!!! He can't speak!!!

I made the Vault worse to make it better - he goes through a hundred Echo cycles fighting fate until it works. But he couldn't change the Aery. The death still clings to his conscience even now.

This happened to me in ucob once and Twintania just cast twister on an empty arena over and over again. None of her other mechs. Just twister until he finally dc'd. Ff14 code is beautiful

They do obnoxious gestures over my corpse. I cannot avoid them if I want to keep playing the game with my gf and enjoying it, but I am *tactically* invaded in horrible places and at this point idk if I *want* to keep playing. I can't avoid them. It's actually horrible.
