Beyond the obvious, another sad notion about all this DEI hate is that it objectively yields better products and companies by putting a greater diversity of backgrounds and problem solving into these systems. DEI incidentally ends up being good for profit. But people are too racist.

I think we need to change how we think about sex and romance in books. A book like Fourth Wing gets tossed into Romantasy or Smut as if its inherently different from other fantasy books without romance. #books 🧵1/4
