Accordians and articulation! After the snowstorm, I set out to find some #MiWay 2013 New Flyer XD60s, which are the oldest articulated buses in Mississauga as of current. These units will be replaced by newer XD60s that will be arriving sometime between 2025 and 2026. 📸 | 14/02/2025

The retirements of the remaining D40LFRs have begun, with 0728, 0733, and 0802 being recently decommissioned. Their replacements, the 2024 XDE40s, have started entering service, and will gradually be phased out as more hit the road. All photos were taken without trespassing. 📸 | 06/02/2025

It’s estimated that 1 Skytrain transit line in #MetroVancouver replaces between 20 & 26 lanes of freeway vehicle traffic. And then consider the amount of PARKING it replaces, how much pollution & GHG emissions it replaces, how much public cost it replaces. Transit makes cities work. #CityMakingMath
