Sadly, that is a very logical argument, which means it fails against NIMBYs and people who aren't directly affected by urban infrastructure. Like, every time they want to expand MARTA in ATL, it is a fight, since people in rural counties already don't want their taxes going towards 'city folk'.

The people who voted against trump are focused on battening down the hatches, and protecting those closest to them. Lot of you made your bed now lie in it energy. And the cultists are still delusional.
