We are approaching the end of the year. What will the new year 2025 bring? I am very positive and I am looking forward to it. I deeply believe that it will bring many new experiences, and positive events and will be an important stage in our development. But it is only up to us what will happen.

I've updated my Raspberry Pi NVMe SSD review to include the 512GB model now that I finally have it! It's a BIWIN drive rather than Samsung, though it offers just as good (if not ever so slightly better) performance for your Pi 5 (and more) bret.dk/official-ras...

Modder successfully hacks missing M.2 slot into Pi 500: www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2024/pi...

Even if you have 4 layer PCB, but if you use standard technology like drilled via (TH), sometimes you face problem like SMD components on both sides. Layout in this case can be a bit tricky and you have to improvise.

Raspberry Pi launched the Pi 500 today, a keyboard that's actually a computer. It's $90 with 8GB of RAM and an included 32GB A2 microSD card—but no M.2 slot! They also released a new monitor, and if you want to learn EVERYTHING #Pi500, check out today's video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YfJ...

EDATec has announced an active cooler for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5. Now we get passive and active cooling in one package! www.tomshardware.com/raspberry-pi...

Many viewers asked after my CM5 video whether Home Assistant Yellow (a local/private smart home hub I love!) works with CM5. The answer: emphatically YES! Another drop-in upgrade giving an instant 2-3x speed boost. More on my blog: www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2024/ho...

My review of the new #Raspberrypi Compute Module 5, and development kit is live on Tom's Hardware. I tested the board, CM4 compatibility, SSDs, cameras, displays and overclocked it to 3 GHz! www.tomshardware.com/raspberry-pi...

The Raspberry Pi CM5 changes EVERYTHING—except the form factor. I tested 4K eGPU gaming, upgrading my better-than-a-smart TV from a CM4, and even built a better Pi 5. Check out the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4bl...

We may have just been gifted some delightful Raspberry Pi CM5 news thanks to some early product listings 🙈 Is the Pi 5 Compute Module just weeks away?

I'm offering B2B services: - custom designs for industry (hardware designing/PCB layout), - carrier boards for Raspberry Pi Compute Module CM4/CM5, RP2030/RP2350. - assembled prototypes (PCBA) and small manufacturing batches. contact: [email protected]

New! The Compute Module 5 has just been announced by Raspberry Pi, delivering the power of Raspberry Pi 5 in a form factor ideal for embedded applications. Very limited launch stock available, but plenty is on order! thepihut.com/products/ras...
