How long have you been on antidepressants? It takes time and therapy to get there. You can also try asking whoever you see for mental meds if they do have acute medicine you can take for moments like these. (Doesn't have to be benzos, if fear of addiction)

antidepressants aren't fast acting nor treat things on the spot, they build up over weeks, they should not be taken in reaction to a mental crisis. 2 shouldn't harm you, but you they will probably make you uncomfortable feeling, on top of being upset. Are you safe right now?

omg don't give people ideas! I'm sure someone trained in voice acting could pull this off, at least for a short time. It would just be having a vtuber prepared between the graduation announcement and the original person has their own debut.

I do agree this can mitigate some of the cons of quote posting in general. Mastodon proper still refuses to do it, though other forks and software have it, so I just get a messy experience of having to follow through a link to see it.
I still dislike the visual stacking of quotes posts though lol.
