That is frankly terrifying... It is something that once seemed like a remote possibility, and is now far too easy a step in reasoning for comfort

You're not wrong, but maybe the key point is that Dump would like to be compared to the idea of Churchill as a decisive person with a spine, who could lead well; Qualities which Dump does not possess.

Yes. I always remember the plague of insects which devoured things, and the slow burn of the shift in perspectives, both between siblings and each characters own changed perspectives too

These are from spring (I'm in NZ, so were into the tail of Summer now). My new(ish) garden beds with tomatoes in them. and only a small part of my abundant tomato harvest!

The most unexpectedly good for me was Moby. I wasn't a massive fan but his show was unbelievably epic.

I have a suggestion for a similar question "What band/ artist did you see that was the most unexpectedly amazing live"

WU Tang 2018, Radiohead 2012, P J Harvey 2001, Iggy and the Stooges 2006, The Flaming Lips 2004, and Underworld 2003 are the ones I wasn't expecting to be able to see. Oh! And Lee Scratch Perry in 2005 ish

For me that's Daft Punk, and they stopped playing. I hope you still get to see the Flaming Lips :)

Flaming Lips are one of the best bands/ artists I've ever seen live. 20+ years ago, and it's still vibrant in my memory

I'm in NZ, and so I've come in from harvesting tomatoes, checking how my beans are growing, and if my new flower seedlings are taking ( mostly some Stachys and Osteospermum)

I'm sorry that happened. So stressful for the dogs and for you.
Where I am a lot of people use coconut husk for mulch, and that is toxic for dogs.
