There is nothing politically neutral about pro-natalism. "Pro-natalism" is often part & parcel of racist, ableist, & classist eugenicist ideologies & policy positions. It co-exists with loss of reproductive autonomy & criminalization of pregnant people who do not want to &/or cannot carry to term.

A lot of conservative men would burn the entire world down if it meant getting women out of the workforce because their entire sense of self is based on the idea that they were born superior to women

It may be that the best reason to vote liberal right now is that all the world’s worst regimes seem to be working actively against Mark Carney…peace, order and good government are a direct threat to them.
