Still life of the day. No idea where this little dope bag of shredded currency came from. Might have been from some trade show. I got shit as a child for using onigiri scissors but they are perfect for small sewing projects - like mending now that I can no longer afford new clothes.

This Meyer lemon cream puff was good. I’m going back to get another one today.

Spring in LA means pink jasmine is in bloom. It’s become an annual ritual for me to snip some on my bike ride so the smell from just a few blossoms fills the house. It’s about all there is to look forward to these days.

I kissed the recently shaved head of my neighbor’s dog. The dog has cancer and there are large tumors all over his body. The biggest one on his shoulder makes him look like a hunchback and skews his gait. My kiss won’t help but I still want the dog to know somehow that it will be okay.

As good as I can get. Thanks, damp and grumpy Victor.

I don’t have pointy teeth otherwise this is what I’d be doing all day. Dumbing down well underway…

Good morning, Piggy

A literary agent giving advice on YouTube said that unless a writer has at least “seven figures” of followers on social media they probably wouldn’t be considered. 😆 I guess I should give up, right? Hello? Hello?

The un-tattooed arms of the Gen X creative type white man in a faded black t-shirt were unusual. I enjoyed staring, a flagrant display of a double standard. His posts showed pictures of him and presumably his partner doing nude yoga in the desert. Ooof. Definitely not for me.

Loaf in Natural Juices is not a good name for dog food (or any food). What scat fiend came up with this?

Hello-o-o-o! Just a test to confirm what I already know. This platform is a dud.

This platform is useless to me. Zero engagement. I can just post anything and nobody sees it. It’s like screaming in the middle of the ocean. But here’s a very cool looking seed from an African tulip tree. Gonna try to germinate it.

I’m picking at my roast chicken carcass with the same dedicated patience as a crab pulling dead skin of someone’s foot as part of a beauty treatment

I guess I’m a little homesick

I surrender. Only going to talk to plants and animals from now on. Look at this avocado. Never had patience or luck waiting for magic to happen on toothpicks. Until now.

Here are some clouds at dusk, a fall treat for getting dark so early. Small things, small things…

My essay called Pity Face got rejected 4 hours after I submitted. That’s a new record in letting me know I suck.
