I went to art school in NY from 1978-1981. Yacht rock was not cool to my black-clad, ennui filled classmates. So, while I spent plenty of time seeing downtown bands, I secretly played this music (and disco, another intellectual no-no) in the privacy of my crummy apartment.

All during the 80s, yacht rock was my secret guilty pleasure. I can’t wait to see this and sing along - to the horror of anyone within earshot. Hope it doesn’t disappoint (the film, not my singing).
