maybe it was when the Greeks conquered it in 332 .. or when it was ruled by the Seleucid Empire in 198, the Hasmonean empire around 167.. or the Roman Empire after that? Israel was destroyed in 79 CE.. Britain re-established Israel in 1947 forcing Palestinians who had lived there 1800 years, out.

I’m trying to understand the mindset of his “Prove it God protected Israel from other nations…” post.
When did God protect Israel? Was it when the Assyrians invaded in 722 BCE or the Babylonians invaded in 586… or when Persia assumed control towards the end of that century…

While I don’t want my taxes going to Israel, they turn around and buy our weapons, keeping people here working making them.
There are enough Jewish people living and working here who will say “send OUR taxes to Israel.” Which is kind of what we’re doing.
The aid package to Ukraine? Same thing.

They do pay “some” taxes: property tax, sales tax, things you can’t deduct on 1040 (SALT, State and Local Taxes, are limited to $10,000).
The reason they don’t pay income taxes? They don’t earn income. It’s all investments, no one pays taxes until stocks are sold. They just sell at a loss. No gain.

My score is 5. What do I win?
Still own a typewriter
Never:
1) “dropped” needle, I placed them. Is the question rhetorical?
2) saw/owned a Walkman
3) put boombox on my shoulders. Either it’s too big or not actually a boombox (detachable speakers).
4) prayed it wouldn’t Jam
5) rented Friday night

Like others I didn’t know either.
What bothers me is the reaction of s supporter who was happy because “we got a not guilty.” What’s with this “WE?”
If she had been found guilty; would that supporter go to jail with her?
No?
Then there is no “we” in the results received.

Of course he floats the idea of making the taxpayers compensate those who attacked Democracy in his name. But what does he get out of it?
He could have issued pardons on his way out of his first term, but there wasn’t anything in it for him. He raised funds on promises of pardons. Who’ll pay now?

Was about to ask “Well, what’s less intelligent than a moron?” But decided to answer this myself:
While all three of these words mean the same thing today, historically they were in this order, going from “smartest” to least smart:
Moron
Imbecile
Idiot
President Moron employs Imbeciles & Idiots.

It’s good to see what the crowd actually looked like. I saw a picture where the flag appeared upside down, but here it’s the correct way. Now I know that news organization must have had a photoshopped picture.

A thousand dollars in cryptocurrency? First: which one, a volatile or stable crypto?
Is the crypto “new” and therefore no value, or $trump and worthless?
According to what timeline? $1,000 value when issued or what it’s expected to be worth some day?

We should close and bulldoze military installations named “Bragg,” “Robert E Lee,” and others. This way the next administration can rename the pile of dirt anything they want.

Ask the hotel if it’s their policy to allow guests to harass the employees. If they say no, tell them they have guests staying there and harassing their workforce. They should kick them out!

Arrest the people in face masks now? Well the police, FBI, ICE… there were a lot of them wearing face masks. Who’s going to arrest them?

I didn’t read the story. Just curious if it will be the horrible gold-everything treatment or if it will end up being something people will want to visit.

There is a % who refuse vote for women. Imagine what the last election would have been like if it had been D-Harris, R-Haley, I-Stein?
We would have found out what that % is, both male and female since it’s not just men that make that % up.
Would Stein have won 30% to others 25%? 20% not voting!

Wait, did President Taco actually do something smart? His text mentioned canceling all government contracts with Elon.
Smartest thing he could have done. Now we just have to wait to find out if it’s all talk (text) and bluster, and see if he really cancels them or Taco’s out.

In order to form a more perfect union…
The founders tried, and over the years we’ve been F-ing it up. We now have a president trying to destroy the “union” part as best he can.
Do Republicans realize if he succeeds we lose a nation, and they’ll be out on the streets with the rest?

The police were investigating a Mexican restaurant for MONEY LAUNDERING and Drugs.
The bit in Minneapolis was not about immigration. ICE, FBI and other officials were there for Crowd Control only. The pushing you see is due to the taunts and pushing done by civilians.

But our Nation’s Founders didn’t have a Supreme Court giving him license to do whatever he wants without impunity and immunity to commit crimes.
Our Founding Fathers did have a Congress that would have impeached and removed him.
Ours has boot lickers and arse kissers gaslighting conservatives

Sure, if anything he probably thinks the deaths would have happened regardless of getting aid.
But more likely, Rubio doesn’t see the deaths first hand, or it’s not happening in the US, so the news must be made up. Idiots never learn.

It’s like she thinks the two are separate subjects. Yes, we’re all going to die, but taking Medicare from those who need it will accelerate death.
Apparently when yelling things at Joni Ernst, the statements have to be concise, otherwise she won’t understand. She’s a moron.

Wait, a penguin-filled island that nobody trades with was slapped with a 10% tariff, but those three human-filled countries whose goods might actually get to us whether we officially trade with them directly or not, had none?
Quick, send penguins to them, maybe they’ll get tariffs then!

Makes total sense. The billionaires make less money with minority owned businesses giving their’s competition, and TACO is all about making more profit for the super rich.
Getting rid of competition means more people will be forced to buy from the billionaires.
Since 1983? Reagan implemented. 🤔

And Trump’s mental state is in decline right now, does that mean when Dems are in control they can claim the things Trump signs without reading them, trusting what he’s told is in them, aren’t valid?
This is just a power grab Comer, go do some real work instead of conspiracy theories.

The Nobel Peace Prize, oh course, why didn’t I think of it. Explains why he’s gone from ordering a military base strike in Syria in response to that leader’s chemical warfare on his own people, & a missile strike on an Iranian general in his 1st term to “I want to stop the killing” in this term!

It’s good you’re alive now and survived that experience.
Walgreens should be sued for refusing you. They might claim they wouldn’t receive payment for it, did they give you the option to pay the $200? Not that you have the funds, but the news was they no longer recommend. not that it can’t be given

DOGE failed to fulfill its promises, but Elon actually won.
He came to stop: regulations holding his companies back, investigations in his companies’ from various organizations (he closed them down or fired people doing the investigations), and accelerated Social Security’s potential failure.

Comparing #TheFinalReckoning opening weekend’s $63M to #DeadReckoningPart1 @ $55M shows a decline in audience. Ticket prices were lower in 2023.
Could Thomas Cruise Mapother’s appeal be waning? Time will tell as the new movie’s gross may not reach the former’s $571M worldwide final numbers.

So much for supporting police. Cutting funding to investigate and prosecute fentanyl dealers sounds like completely against what Trump “wants”.
Seems like Trump allowing more fentanyl coming in rather than stopping it.
