The best people.

On an earnings call, the CEO of Palantir talked openly about killing “enemies,” then added, “I’m sure you’re enjoying this as much as I am!” www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

USAID accounts for .7% of our budget. It is extremely popular. Musk has laid off 10,000 people there and shuttered it. www.usaid.gov

Geranium maculatum (Wild Geranium). A great late spring native. The seed heads are little trebuchets that fling the seeds when they are disturbed. They spread nicely in the shade. #nativePlants #Minnesota

Of course it’s a coup. Miss the obvious, lose your republic. open.substack.com/pub/snyder/p...

We're high-key on that grindset so we made a Slang Dictionary. No cap. merriam-webster.com/slang

Black Cohosh (Actaea racemosa)

Monarch on Liatris ligulistylis (Meadow Blazing Star). #nativePlants #monarch

Here’s Hydrophyllum virginianum (Virginia Waterleaf) which is a great shade tolerant native. Also really aggressive so I’ll pull them in my little woods whenever they piss me off. The leaves are edible especially when young so nice to collect when you’re foraging fiddleheads etc. #nativePlants

Obedient Plant (Physostegia virginiana) is a late summer native that is easy to grow. It drops a ton of seeds so can be aggressive but I find that seedlings easy to remove. Called obedient because you can twist the flowers around like a demon-possessed Regan head in The Exorcist. #nativeplants
