Being encapsulated in rubber is a way to zone out and relax. It's the perfect way for me to fully forget everything else and just be in the moment. Sometimes the sensory overload can be overwhelming, more so if gas mask and bondage added. I get the "wriggles" on and takes time for me to settle down.

Being neurodivergent and a rubberiest are two things that I am very much unashamed of; after all it is who and what I am and it's so important to be confident in yourself, even if you are not confident in your surroundings.

There is something exceedingly arousing about how the rain gear sounds whilst walking and working in it; it’s a pleasant and reassuring sound. Once saturated in rain, the rain gear takes on an altogether different sound, a slightly duller yet still a recognisable rubbery sound.

The smell of the PU/PVC/Rubber rain gear and rubber boots warming up whilst working hard outside, is also a massive overload for the senses.

The feeling of the rain gear growing more supple as it warms up as rain drops pelt down on the gear is comforting and reassuring. Seeing and hearing the rain droplets forming on the shiny rubbery waterproofs and then streaming down the gear, looks fantastic.
