I love people and animals (all kinds) - especially people who are kind. Truth matters and fact checkers are more important now than ever before.

Here comes another dust bowl, just in time for the šš¤”ās economic depression.

The thing is, once someone gets used to saying no, sometimes they find out they really like it. One day for some may turn into a long term boycott. Once people change their buying habits they donāt necessarily go back.

The power is in the possibility that saying ānoā to certain retailers will become a long term habit. Once a large group of people become enraged enough to fight back (like Canada boycotting US goods) it really makes an impact.

Maybe they would charge less with all the money they save on advertising.

I want a cost put on the massive waste involved when they pushed FBI and CIA agents out of their jobs. Those positions can take over a year to vet, involve expensive background investigations, and months of extensive training before they can even be probationary agents, and theyāre understaffed!

Someone needs to report on the lost good will the US now has with the allies that were threatened by tariffs. Canadians and other nations are choosing to boycott goods from the US. The damage is done, people are protesting with their wallets and it will hurt US businesses.

Remember the constant uproar over Hillaryās private email server? Is it true that Elon had these guys download government records onto his private servers? Isnāt that illegal?

If they hate DEI then they must hate the Preamble to the Constitution. The first few lines are all about diversity (we the people), inclusion (in order to form a more perfect union), and equity (establish justice). The original signers failed to embrace the spirit of the document for everyone.

Someone needs to do the work to put a cost to all of these firings. It usually takes over a year for a person to get through the FBI hiring phases for agents, then an expensive background check, and then at least 18 weeks of expensive training at Quantico. Itās a huge investment of time and money.

Your headline needs a rewrite, PBS. It should say, āPresident Biden helps negotiate a ceasefire for Israel and Hamas and the felon, President-Elect Trump, lies to try and take credit for it.ā

I wouldnāt be surprised if she had been ignored by Trump the past. Iāve been a plus one where men shake my husbandās hand and barely acknowledge my existence.

I love the hide alerts feature. Group chats are so annoying, especially when Iām trying to get something done. Iām so weak willed that each alert causes a Pavlovian response.

I love this. I also try not to cause/produce the crap that falls into other peopleās lives. Some days I do better than others.

Threads also has āhide for everyone,ā so it can easily be manipulated, too. I donāt know how community notes would have any power/ability to make any positive change.
