As a fan of Seth Meyers' Corrections, I am here for this correction and happy to get it. The closest I got to building a model airplane was one of those balsa wood planes that isn't even glued.

That "genius" also thinks you can glue cars together like model airplanes.

DC would have a better chance.

As the SAVE Act targets people whose birth names have changed it is a not-so-covert way to attack women's suffrage, as women disproportionately change their names with marriage (nearly 80%).

I've been sane for a long time now and it is time for a change.

I still say that Trump has confused the words "tariff" and "tribute." Tariffs are a tax paid by the importing country (i.e. US). A tribute is paid by a conquered nation to their conqueror, basically protection money to not get invaded again.

Qanon was just a convenient cover story for a lot of those sick bastards to talk about what they want to do to kids in a way that made them seem like heroes to people who didn't see the massive red flags. No surprise that a TON of the J6 crowd were sexual predators too.

But if they are banned from trading stocks, what incentive would they have to wreck the stock market one week by imposing tariffs in order to lower the costs of buying stocks, before pumping their value by temporarily ending tariffs? Nevermind Professor Reich, I think I answered my own question.

I feel so liberated, thank you Kommandant Trump for the big beautiful tariffs and the big beautiful stock market crash.

If you'd like to check out my full study, here's a link to buy a copy and support the valuable work the ASTM International is doing: store.astm.org/jte20230806....

It's also nice to see the rest of the cannabis industry catch up to where I was at last year, when I published my first-of-its-kind study on #cannabis packaging waste showing that outdated packaging rules prevented #sustainability goals. Note the similar headlines.

While it is nice to see that 3% more cannabis businesses were profitable in 2024 vs. 2023 when I spoke to Beau about his market report, with just 27.3% profitable, that is shockingly lower than the 65.3% of all small businesses who are profitable in the US.

But the beautiful beef...

This is all I think about when it comes to Trump on Letterman.

Oh yea, because giving a government employee an indefinite paid vacation *screams* efficient use of tax dollars.

Vampires don't have a reflection but they do have faces. I'm not sure your math is right.

Great choice, it's also the 40th anniversary of Bicycle Day, commemorating the day Albert Hofmann discovered LSD.

100%, we need to nurture, support, and GROW our rural Dems. I am a Dem about to be priced out of CA with plans to move to the midwest. We need more Dems being priced out of the coasts to do this if we want to remain competitive in the next couple of censuses.

Yep, I did an initial stock up when it was first discussed and I'm about due for another. I feel for people who eat gluten free because those flours and grains are almost entirely imported.

Yea, they are pro-life for Measles. All Measles Lives Matter. But humans? Screw them.

It was incredible, the only political rally worth remembering...Newsom and Jerry Brown for rock the vote was a snorefest.

I dunno, when he said "Don't listen to me I am a fucking idiot," that is perhaps the one true thing he has ever said. www.facebook.com/watch/?v=997...

I still fondly remember going to his rally in Oakland, I waited for HOURS just to get into the overflow area.

This is one baby step closer to potential adult use legalization in #SouthAfrica since I wrote on it for #HighTimes two years ago.

Those ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. FIFA is a trash organization and virtually every country the World Cup has been in suffers as a result. The World Cup coming to the US is a punishment. But at least people don't feel they need stabproof vests here yet.

Can what was never there to begin with actually die? Like, for her critical thinking skills to die that means she once had them and I don't believe that.

Well duh, Greenland is a very cold country.

I'm honestly amazed they haven't found a way to blame the group chat on DEI.
comment in response to post
Right, because South Africa was a safe country that doesn't continue to have political issues around race Remember the stabproof vests from World Cup 2010? I do.
