I didn’t watch an exhaustive amount but from a few games of each guy I liked him better than Campbell and Membou. Banks at LT, Penning at LG, Fuaga at RT can be really good

I’m not. Plenty of people were saying Cincy needs to get Chase signed last yr because the money would only go up. And plenty said after the Myles deal “see! Now they have to pay so much more!” Star players run on 3 year cash cycles. They delayed that by a yr and saved $30m+ in 24. That’s not nothing

If you’re in a position to mark your ball you should. Or if it’s like directly on the line and reasonable that a ball could hit it. If it would take time to go mark it then just leave it.

It’s the pros. They are getting repaired in the way the course recommends. Doesn’t mean there aren’t sand filled divots that are much worse to hit from than nice grassy fairways.

I wouldn’t say that. He needed Philly’s OL and scheme to look like THIS. It goes hand in hand, but when the other pieces are there you can really see how special he is. And then he’s totally worth it.

If it’s not then we should still be talking about Montana as the best QB ever! Or at least bring him up more often. We got past that when Brady went to 10 and won 7. But now we’re back to having to those arguments for some reason. Missing the playoffs and 1st rd bounces are ok! Super Bowl losses not

So let’s pump the brakes on all the comparisons and appreciate what we’ve gotten the last 7 years from Pat. It’s been an unprecedented start to a career that has changed the dynamics of football. Teams adapted, he adapted. It’s legendary, it’s historic. Enjoy it.

I know everyone has pointed out that Brady was 3-2 in his first 5 Super Bowls, at age 34. That he went 10 years between wins 3 and 4 (age 37). From 2005 through 2013: 9-8 playoff record, two SB losses to those Giants, 32 TD-19 INT, missed playoffs once, first round exit twice.

It feels like we’re trying to blend MJ and Brady and hold Pat to that standard. No one is repeating 6-0. Brady didn’t do it. No one else will, especially in football. Football is too interconnected, 1 game is too small. Jordan had 7 games to make sure his team won. Too different.

Brady’s legacy wasn’t tarnished in 07 when his OL had a bad game, he didn’t play up to standards, and they lost to an inferior team. Wasn’t tarnished for missing the playoffs in year 2. It happens. Everything is so damn reactionary these days. Here’s the crux of my argument:

The dynamic has gotten very weird where you have to not only win #Ringz but you also get docked this bad for a Super Bowl loss when you’re doing unprecedented things before the age of 30. Brady is the most accomplished QB ever, it’s going to take years to compare their résumés.

Tiger missed cuts in majors even at the height of his powers. Brady had a 16-0 team and lost to a 10-6 team. Missed the playoffs his 2nd year starting. Lost multiple playoff games to teams who threw for less than 100 yards but that doesn’t matter b/c it wasn’t in the Super Bowl?

They had the best record in football and then struggled at the end of the season and lost in the playoffs because their coordinators were bad and their leadership was bad. What about the year before that? The 6 years before that? Unless you find a GUY at QB which is very hard to do this is the model

It's when the DL doesn't rush normal. They twist or move in a way that's abnormal from just normal pass rushing in an attempt to get someone free. Like a DT goes up the field and DE comes over the top, or vice versa.
