Literal gold right now based on that email they just sent.

Respectfully, no. We can do better than billionaires, and selfishly I would prefer him as my governor while fascism has its day in the White House.

They justified it using the AUMF, which is still standing law. “There is no carve out of American citizenship… there’s nothing to stop the President from deciding, unilaterally, who he wants to target.” -Spencer Ackerman @attackerman.bsky.social (youtu.be/y1TkWL46h9g) @

“We looked at it. We really did. It’s fine.” 🙄

I think the ick factor for liberals (and fellow leftists) is that it rhymes with defending what Al-Awlaki was preaching. Like I should suspend my enthusiasm for rule of law because “he was a bad guy”.
And they investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing. Literally.

Yeah. Nobody seems to care. I feel crazy.
But I regularly bring it up when people say the largest scandal BHO has was the tan suit thing. It really wasn’t. It was the extrajudicial murder of a natural-born American citizen and his natural-born citizen son two weeks later.
They did it TWICE.

I mention this a lot and it seems like nobody cares that the legal b precedent for killing Americans with drones has already been set in stone.

To be clear, I do believe Al-Awlaki was a detestable human and should have faced judgement for his crimes and would have been better served being locked away.
He was not charged with a crime at the time he was extra-judicially killed.
PAY ATTENTION.

And he would be immune from prosecution. And there's precedent here, meaning the legal argument isn't even just that DJT is immune -- it's that "the system" determined killing Al-Awlaki was not a crime.

For brevity, he was a US citizen murdered by a drone in a foreign state with which the US was not and is not at war. They perceived him to be a threat and rather than give due process, murdered him.
DJT could legally perceive "the left" to be a threat and apply the same justification.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. This is callous and tone deaf.

My last TikTok was Steve from Blues Clues. I feel like the algorithm at least tried to let me down gently.

No explanation given. Guess you can’t have fun after the first TD on Christmas after your team lifts two timeouts on fire in the fiery quarter. #letthemplay

Especially after your team burned two timeouts in less than 4 minutes in the 1Q. I would be excited too.

Saw a comedian on TikTok make the argument that we could probably just bribe trump to be leftist. He’s honestly probably for sale for the right price.
