Braunfels Castle is located on a basalt hilltop west of the climatic health resort of Braunfels in the Lahn-Dill district in central Hesse in Germany. It has been the seat of the Counts of Solms since the 13th century and is still owned by the Counts of Oppersdorff zu Solms-Braunfels today.

Saurolophus is a large hadrosaur, and one of the few dinosaur genera known from multiple continents. Fossil specimens have been found in Canada and Mongolia. Saurolophus is distinguished by a spike-like crest which projects up and back from the skull.

Plateosaurus is a basal sauropodomorph, and one of the earliest described dinosaur genera that is still used today. It was a bipedal herbivore with a small skull on a long, flexible neck.

The Tlatolophus was an herbivore, processing plant matter with its complex dental batteries. It grew to around 8 m in length, and was facultatively bipedal, meaning it was capable of walking or running on two legs, but normally walked on all fours.
