For aircraft, that’s called ADS-B. But yes, they turn it on when they want to be seen. B52s have been flying over Sweden 🇸🇪 and Finland 🇫🇮 now and again at least since they became full NATO members. You can follow at sites like flightradar24.com or adsbexchange.com…
