Yet, this is where we are.

But the positive, I guess, is nothing is undoable, with time...

Tariffs on UK cars 2.5%. Trump raises them to 27.5% then Starmer does a "deal" and gets 10% tariff on 100,000 cars and the rest at 27.5%. What does he have to give away to get this "deal"? We really don't know yet but it's a deal Starmer should not be proud of...

Britain, a trading nation, now has a vital choice to make about its priority trading partners: - the EU, where agreements are made, kept, reciprocal, based on international norms, & enforced by a court - the USA, where agreements are made, broken, changed & broken again at a whim, with no recourse

Pope Francis dies. Well, a meeting with J D Vance is enough to make anybody lose the will to live...

The Liz Truss of America... www.theguardian.com/us-news/live...

It's obvious now. Trump doesn't care about the people of America, he is only interested in getting the world's attention on him. He is the ultimate attention seeker. There must be a mental disease that covers this.

AOC: In every single stop that Bernie and I have had in the past couple of days… every single stop has completely blown out all attendance projections.

We will not be distracted. We will not be discouraged. We’ve got our eyes on the prize. And we will build the prosperous, free nation for all that we deserve. The time to organize is now. OcasioCortez.com

Oh yes! Well done to whoever created!

The painting that trumpy hates and has had removed. I post it here because he hates it....

Whenever I see the orange clown's ugly face on TV spouting some new nonsense I just feel to say "oh fuck off"..... It's tiresome.

It’s a time for Labour to get a grip! Stop talking platitudes and do something positive min customs union … & quickly! Brexit costing UK business £37bn year UK’s total trade with EU 5% “below the level seen in 2018”, before the UK left the bloc, once inflation and precious metals were excluded

Let's all share this, Labour said at the end of the debate that their only reason given, was that no to #rejoin was in their manifesto. So was no to customs union and no to single market. Please Sign and Share! Let's get it to 10k for a response...

That's a fine 10 ideas!! patrioticmillionaires.uk/latest-news/...

Just a reminder...

Someone should send this to @Trump !!

Must be costing the US taxpayer a bundle of money so that Musk can play rockets..

@nicsigni.bsky.social

I suspected this. The "special relationship" the UK gov goes on about is because the UK nuclear deterrent is severely compromised if US relationship breaks down. The US has the UK by its balls, that's the type of "special" they mean!! www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

The man is a nutter and should be decommissioned. Trouble is, if he goes into an old people's home then which idiot will take over the job? Did he choose Vance to be his VP as an insurance policy?

I wonder how much poorer that makes Musk. I can only hope that it's a lot....

Poor journalism. Mexico doesn't pay Trump's tariffs, the US companies who import goods from Mexico pay those tariffs which then would be passed onto American consumers. Misleading. www.theguardian.com/us-news/live...

NEW: Senator Marshall (R-KS) RUNS AWAY, fleeing his own town hall after being asked about DOGE firing Veterans. MAKE HIM GO VIRAL.

Yup.

Republicans will applaud Musk for showing up to the Oval Office in a T-shirt while cutting cancer research funding, yet they will criticize a hero like Zelensky for not wearing a suit and 'only' thanking them 33 times during a war

What if Britain has to defend itself from the US? The UK should have followed France in creating more independent military and security systems. Disentangling from the US will be difficult and expensive. Failing to do so could carry a far higher price www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Starmer may have been the charmer with Trump but he should be wary of any "trade deal" Trump eventually offers. The man is a rogue and will screw the UK in a heavily US weighted deal. The UK will have to give far more than it wants. Our future is in Europe not USA. #wakeupstarmer

Until some billionaire buys it out with an offer they can't refuse of course. We really need an EU social media platform that is based in the EU and follows EU laws!

Americans had better wake up soon or their second amendment rights will be taken away from anyone who disagrees with Trump and then it will be too late to do anything about the madness.

A very interesting read on Trump's expansionist ideas. open.substack.com/pub/bylinesu...

Ye gods. Terrible news today. Trump sides with Putin all the way down the line. US negotiate the capitulation to Putin and Ukraine will not have a say as they've "had a seat at the table for 3 years". Which table, with who? Trumputin rules the world!

We should never forget the bad things Putin has done. What a total mug Trump is for thinking he can befriend Putin and do business with him. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

WORLD’S RICHEST MAN BUYING OUR DEMOCRACY! Elon Musk is set to pump £78m into Nigel Farage’s party—a sum that would allow Reform to flood our politics with targeted ads. Maybe other countries allow billionaires to buy elections, but not here! act.38degrees.org.uk/act/britain-...
