On this Caturday, I am unable to go get another coffee or play video games because, priorities.

I know the world is burning down around me, but I’m still trying to focus on some forms of personal growth in 2025. Today I’m reminding myself that my way of doing things isn’t the only way and it isn’t always the best way. SERENITY NOW.

I like to think this former yard kitty is staring out at the snow and being grateful she’s inside, but she probably wants to go play in it.

No one has ever questioned whether or not any of my friends or I were giving a n*zi salute, and we’re all plenty social awkward. If you have to question it, there’s no question.

Look at this baby girl sitting on the back of a couch. So grateful that she’s our inside girl now and we aren’t worrying about her in the cold.

I see Facebook automatically signed me up to follow the orange guy. Nope. Nope. Nope. Gross.

It’s watching movies and snuggling cat weather here in Milwaukee.

When you’re at your husband’s holiday party and you find another non-trumper in a sea of trumpers and you are now friends. That’s where I am at.

Seems like it’s time for a cat photo. This is my Eloise in her fort in front of the heat vent.

What I love about the burrito discourse is that totally coincidentally I am making a bunch of black bean and sweet potato burritos to put in the freezer today. As an old I like that I can control the salt content.

Remember when I could actually breathe through my nose? It was a simpler time. 🤧

Ok. That’s enough shooting into the air as a celebration…

My former yard kitty, Lainey, is shockingly unbothered by the neighbor’s fireworks. The music we put on in the kitchen while cooking on the other hand… SCARY.

When my dad died (a few years ago and a few years after my mom) I inherited all the family Christmas ornaments. I used to find it annoying that my mom left tags on them. But tonight while hanging an ornament I noticed the tag on it as “West Germany” and wow.

Eloise lives for forced air heat season. It’s right behind her and she never leaves.
