Just a thought on this one Pete, and I'm really taking a half-assed guess...this aircraft was originally on order for Ural Airlines (SVR) as VP-BHT but was not taken up. Quite possibly the code HL-KM was meant for the former. Hopefully when "BBC" gets delivered there will be a f/p to confirm.Cheers!

Glad you're here Steve. As you know I've been following you for a while now, and still surprise you with my knowledge of aircraft you are ferrying before you even get there. I'm still reeling from that "accidental" encounter at Tampa Airport in September of 2022. Go get'em you heavy metal mutha! π

Is the permit the same as is indicated on the FAA register? If so the window for this particular a/c was 14 Feb'25 to 16 Mar'25 along with a certificate number. I see that all the time when I'm updating my database. Thanks Steve!

THAT my friend will take an act of Congress, FWIW. When planes start dropping out of the skies and runway incursions continue, they will be begging you back. Or maybe I'm full of shit.

Wild guess here...B737-71B(WL) msn 35362 N562FT, ex CSN B-5236 last flight 22 Dec'24?? Appears to be the last of the 71B series that CSN retired.π€

How are you receiving the selcal information? Is it from the flight plan, voice, CPDLC or the actual tones themselves?? Selcal can be quite quirky. Are you familiar with the Selcal-32 format? Sorry for all the questions, I follow you and your workings and am amazed at the time you put in your work.

Showing my age, I have loved helicopters since the old "Whirlybirds" days. Flown in the 47's, and Jet Rangers but the Robinson's still scare me.π

I imagine the owners of the poster missed the Bell 47, Aerospatiale Gazelle, Alouette and Hiller UH-12. Outstanding poster none the less! Thanks for sharing Isaac.

I had made a notation in my database that MG had this selcal HK-BS in his w/e 16 Nov'24 listing. I guess I will make another notation. Cheers Pete!

No conflicts with other aircraft that I can see. Appears to be a unique code used by 2 other aircraft. Of course there is always another reason just because.

Hello Pete. Not sure if you have this one, but another Selcal-32 code found for TVF A20N F-HXSH msn 12331---2379 from f/p on 15 Dec'24. The list is moving up as I have 8 so far. Cheers!

This a/c has an interesting history. During VIP configuration in June 2001, nearly 30 (27 to 30) bugging devices were supposedly installed by the CIA during VIP conversion, discovered to be concealed on the aircraft. The story here modelairliner.com/bugged-china...

Other than Steve losing his hat at the end, noticed Bob with his "head on a swivel" trying to land a heavy jet in uncontrolled airspace. Also I'm sure you were reminiscing about those old G4 Mad Dogs you deposited there 4 years back.π

I'm just now getting around to this one. Almost thought this was going to be a duplicate selcal, but checked closer....this should be ET-BAX, still do not have a tie-up for ET-BAY. Cheers Pete!

And finally to put this one to bed, f/p for AVA047 MAD-BOG has N784AV s/c CDHP hex AA9F76.
comment in response to

I just reviewed the LiveATC.net archive for AVA046 and the tone CDHP matches using AvDelphi selcal generator. Definitely not JLAR.
comment in response to

One other thought, Pete...the only conflict with the JLAR code would be a UAL B772 N77014 msn 29862. This a/c regularly flies the North Atlantic...FRA,LHR and an occasional Buenos Aires route from Houston. Probably overthinking this like I usually do.π
