As a fellow migraine sufferer at times.. I'd always say you've got to take care of you. It doesn't do any good for anyone to try to fight your body, just get yourself well. Streaming can wait.

Thanks for the reminder - I've been meaning to try making pierogis for a while now, and keep putting it off for one reason or another. I think I know what I'm doing for dinner...

It's honestly pretty soothing working through all the various steps. Just takes a while 😅

That sounds both fun and intimidating, so it's really cool that you're going for it if you ask me!

I miss my little Sweetie. She'd hop up on my back and chat to me about her day when I was giving out food, walking around my shoulders until she got her say in, then hop down. If I was on the other side of the housing, she'd ask for treats rather than a ride - and she loved rice as well

Our squirrels are always doing that.. but there's a stump they all want to eat their stolen treat on if they can get there. It's home base, I guess, since once one gets there the rest leave them alone .. until the next treat is found 😆

Fingers crossed I can get this silly project done by New Year's. I just mess with it while waiting for paint to dry and such

Okay, force killed Fusion a little while back, but this is why I mostly keep local backups anyway, I don't trust my internet. And since I'm building this similar to a Perfect Grade Gundam, of course it doesn't look like it needs anywhere near 300 MB...

My father just called me up and offered to lend me his Prime Video login to watch it, haha

And I have to love my family, they know exactly the kind of weird and random stuff I'd love to get...
(it's basically buffalo wing sauce, so the chicken motif fits in multiple ways, making it even more fun)

Go for it! Everyone has plenty of lore!
Stuff that sounds boring to you is still a different experience from others, and can be fascinating for them after all.
(I don't do them because I don't think I'd get any likes, haha)

I had so much fun picking up the Wii! When they were first out and no one could get any, I knew of a secret little Toys R Us a bit north of San Francisco. Basically no line at all, and there was a bookstore next door. Ahh, good trip. And fun games!

I'd feel horrible playing Mega Man Legends again.. I saw that kicking the dog enemies turned me dark, and I thought I was as evil as possible at a certain point, but a friend who runs a Mega Man site told me I was not close to as evil as possible.
But I'd still like to see that series brought back!

Sounds like the time I took a parkour class.. so much fun, but oohhhhhhh boy every part of me was both limp noodles and pain

I've only really been busy if I get to multi-count all the books I've read and sunrises/sets I've experienced. I've got overkill on those.

I wonder if that's why I recently had someone ask me to make a Keyblade for them! Now it makes that delivery even more fun, I didn't even realize about the timing 🙂

.. is soft, drain the liquid. Add butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Then get to mashing! That's the fun part. Tastes better than mashed potatoes, if you ask me, and a great side dish. Can be done on stovetop, slow cooker, or pressure pot

Same here! All right, this will get complicated.. rutabaga, sometimes called waxy turnip. Looks like a wax covered rock. Peel off the outside coating, then dice it up and boil for a while. Peel and dice up about 2-3x the weight of the rutabaga in potatoes, then boil a while longer. Once everything..

Just don't forget to put in a quart or so of liquid (water, chicken broth, whatever you like).. and the dried peas .. when putting everything in the pot, like I forgot to list in my recipe 😅
I also have a family favorite rutabaga recipe, but it's pretty strange...

My easy comfort is split pea soup. I try to have a ham bone on hand, but even bacon bits also work in a pinch. Sautee up some diced onion, garlic, thin sliced celery & carrots, diced potato, some bay leaves and salt/pepper. Put all that with the bone or ham bits in the slow cooker for a few hours

Oof, can't even count how frequently I had Python errors because one person on the team used tabs, and another had their editor set to insert 2 or 4 spaces in place of tabs, and all the errors that caused.. our team had to set some strict rules after a while and a automated sanity checker

Just why you have to save the project to do the full renders, I'm not sure. My PC sounded like it wanted to try to fly given how hard it turned on the fans to produce the render in that style. Think I'll stick with the Export Image option for the most part
comment in response to

For any in the dark, like I was, it's pretty simple:
Upper left corner, the mode button is normally in Design. Drop that down to Render. If your project is saved, you can do renderings, or you can use the File button to Export Image
I'd just been assuming it was an add-on or something I was missing

And thanks for not taking that the wrong way, I realize it could've come off badly 😅
But also good point, I've got some wrapping to do as well, so maybe I will go grab that sake and put on one of his movies when I get back to work with 🙂

(and yes, every now and then I'll pick up a bottle of sake and watch some movies to remember my grandpa. This might be a good day for that!)

My grandfather used to heat up sake and watch movies to relax on his days off, so I get it. Just do it responsibly and be sure to hydrate as well - and don't drive

When I was coding, I'd just save early, save often, then use Perforce or whatever to branch and merge the files as needed. Still haven't gotten the hang of doing art stuff.

And one of these days I will learn to actually save my work more often. Random power outage just cost me some really fun progress on this, argh!

I might be terrible at playing most games, but the ones I love are too much fun, and watching others in games I'm bad at is still a lot of fun if you ask me. I don't see them ever leaving my hobby list 👍

Sadly, that one was largely after my time, too. My last code work was for the era around Force Unleashed, and I know about a bunch of the games and concepts in progress at that time, but I tried not to ask too much about what people were up to in the office after I left
