I'm not the only writer who doesn't use AI/LLMs for prompts, plots, outlines, synopses, writing, editing, images etc. I don't use it at all, and I refuse to do so. As @tiffaniangus.bsky.social points out - there are many of us. We are far from alone. Everything I make is from my brainmeats.

On the one hand, an industry that makes billions of dollars, provides thousands of good jobs, and produces immense cultural capital. On the other hand, an industry with a barely-functional product that has yet to turn a profit. Only someone bought and paid for would see this as a tough call.
