I’m so sorry you are struggling. You are truly loved and supported. Please keep connecting w/ us, and let us know how we can support you. The Crouton family saved my psyche during COVID. Turn abt is fair play.

You could invite professors and lawyers and have brief teach ins followed by action steps. Isolation is deadly in this climate. Get to work!! Unfortunately, I think a black woman would have to model this for you, and we are burnt out at this point.

You’ll be taking yourself on dates in no time. Search the local weekend guides and find shit dude would’ve never joined you for: poetry readings, museum visits, pop up shopping. I’m an inveterate loner yet I’ve found others at these events and we go for drinks after. Proud of you for stepping out!

They could start by reanimating the White folks for Harris calls. Remember y’all? Black women started huge zoom mtgs and you all followed up w mtgs of your own? Remember how connected it made you feel and how much money you raised? Start. There.

Um, you know this was practiced for centuries. It’s why Barry Gordy III and President Carter have the same great grandfather. You ain’t the first white dude to look for absolution between a black woman’s legs, sir!

Eloquent subversion will get them every time. Black folks know how to fight autocracy it’s our legacy in this country. They are jangled cause they’re realizing -some folks were born for these times.

They’d have to grapple w the difference between subversive and submissive and that just makes their mediocre brains melt.

If they could trade in cultural relevance for political power they’d do it in a heartbeat, but the public cultural space has no interest in whiny white boy mediocrity.
