Boo freakin’ hoo NFL. The Eagles came up with something creative and effective and you didn’t. The play shouldn’t be banned. You all should be smarter about how you run your offenses.

Wishful thinking, I fear.

How long before Musk convinces Trump to start withholding Social Security from registered Democrats? Hmmm?

JFC. The only thing stupider than someone actually saying this is the fact that 40% of America agrees with her. meidasnews.com/news/daughte...

It’s way past time for the Democrats to take off their gloves and start vocally and loudly calling out Trump and MAGA out for what they are. At this point, they’re bringing butter knives to a gun fight.

If only the Trump faithful realized DEI isn't about replacing qualified white people with unqualified people of color, it's 100% about ensuring that qualified people of color have access to jobs that would otherwise be taken by default by unqualified white people. Just like Trump is doing right now.

Speciously praising Trump for "keeping his promises" ignores the fact that some of those promises are either illegal or unconstitutional. Our democracy won't survive if we compromise the Constitution or our legal standards for Trump, regardless of what he may have "promised" to win the Presidency.

So Apple's Tim Cook plus umpteen other Tech titans donated millions to Trump's inauguration only to find that, now, Trump has allowed Musk to access every bit of data there is on their relationships with the Federal government.

The same sorts of reservations Tillis had about Hegseth or that Collins had about Kavanaugh? Thoise kinds of reservations?

I’m all in over the outrage that followed the Trump announcement of federal assistance cuts. But where’s the outrage over a President who flips and flops as much as Trump does? He’s not making policy. He never makes policy. He just throws ideas at the wall to see what will stick. Leadership? Hah!

I’m 68 and am 100% certain I will own an EV in my lifetime. Also 100% certain it will NEVER be a Tesla.

The truth from the California Department of Water Resources:

The Trump Administration clearly doesn't understand that a major driver of US growth is government spending. It's one of myriad things about how the USA works that they don't get.

Tariffs are the economic leverage thing that Trump understands best and he has no fucking idea how they work.

Thinking Trump’s Birthright Citizenship ploy is a way to test how easily he can dismantle pieces of the Constitution. Don’t discount the possibility that Musk could be urging him to do away with the Constitutional provision prohibiting naturalized citizens from being President.

We'll never see these records. No way. This is just raw meat for the MAGA masses.

It’s hard for a President to be thoroughly incompetent when he controls everything in Washington. Trump had both Houses of Congress for half his first term and accomplished exactly nothing. He controls them again now. I have no expectation that the result will be any different this time around.

“Unscheduled disassembly?”

What a shame for the dozens of people that were going to be in attendance?

Is it really because of weather or did Trump suddenly realize how small his crowd was likely to be?

The only thing in the new Trump administration I’m looking forward to is watching Bannon and Musk go to war over who has more influence. It’ll be a giant wedge driven into the heart of the White House and it will hopefully distract the MAGA gang from more damaging things they might be doing instead

Ditched my Instagram account this morning. Because of Zuckerberg. I’ll do Facebook too as soon as I can hand off a work-alumni Group I started about 10 years ago.

….and this ban is enforceable how?

OK. Yeah. Sure.

Seems obvious that Trump's posture on annexing Canada, reclaiming the Panama Canal, purchasing Greenland and splintering NATO directly reflect Putin's priorities and we should assume they are what he has ordered Trump to deliver for him. We all need to understand Trump serves no other master.

My guess is Gibson, along with a bunch of his pro-Ivermectin buddies on the Right, are all long Merck stock.

Does anyone have a list of countries that convicted felons are not allowed into? Might Denmark, Canada or Panama be examples of these?

Dershowitz, like Giuliani and others were once recognized flag bearers for high standards in the US legal community but have opted to abandon their principles and become utterly irrelevant in their yen to bend the knee and kowtow to the convicted felon who is about to become President. Again.

Boy, would I love to see someone come up with the total amount Trump has spent on legal fees in his lifetime. Or even just since 2016. The numbers have to be ginormous.

I’m a PA resident and voted for Fetterman and I firmly believe Fetterman is one of the first but certainly won’t be the last Democrat who find it easier to bend the knee to Trump than to summon the courage needed to run the risks associated with opposing him.

Trump's MAGA base is 100% "shiny object" people who randomly flit to any Trump action that they find amusing. Wonder if his Greenland, Canada and Panama ploys are ways to distract this crowd from the really scary shit he has in mind. Then they can say "well, at least he didn't invade Canada."

Trump’s Greenland ploy is possibly his way to splinter NATO. Greenland is a protectorate of Denmark, a NATO founding member. Any attack on Greenland would require Europe to respond in their defense. Trump may very well be betting that few NATO states in Europe will think this is worth the effort

Is nobody going to raise the fact that a Trump attack on Greenland would be a direct attack on Denmark, a NATO member which attack would require all other NATO nations to come to Denmark’s defense? This would very probably splinter the Alliance which would be the whole point of Trump’s action.

Trump’s proposed renaming of the Gulf of “Mexico” to the Gulf of “America” will have the same earth-shattering impact as the renaming of “French” fries to “ Freedom” fries in the aftermath of 9/11.

Trump wants: * Greenland so Putin can have a toehold on Europe’s western flank * Panama so Putin can easily cross into the Caribbean AND stymie China’s desire to do the same, and; * Canada to give Putin a presence to our immediate north as well as unfettered access to the Arctic. Capisce?

Venezuela may also be the nearest country without a US extradition treaty in place. You know. Just in case Trump might need it.

Waiting for someone courageous in the press to ask if he’s doing this because Putin told him to.

What will the post-Trump GOP look like and how bone-jarring will the transition be from a party rabidly obsessed with Trump to a party who no longer believes him to be quite so relevant?
