I’m grateful that I could make the proactive move from Florida to Minnesota last Sept. I miss my little blue dot by the Gulf of MEXICO, but feel it was the right decision for me. Now I see DeathSantis’ wife is a front-runner for the term-restricted governor and feel even better about the decision.

Dubbya has had every opportunity since 2015 to do or say ANYTHING and has failed. He failed the country with his presidency and abdicated any power or influence he might have had post-presidency. It’s crushing to think he is one of the few that might’ve made a difference early on.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT give McConnell a pass here. He has had more opportunity than perhaps ANYONE at the federal level to stop the dismantling of our country.
He knows they have the votes and is not running for reelection (if he even lives that long).

I fear this regime will use a shutdown as a way to further consolidate power, to dissolve the legislative branch. Once Congress leaves, they will not be let back into the Capitol.
