Trump isn’t a king yet, and he’s on a timetable. Slowing down their momentum is the best thing we can do right now, that means lawsuits, protests, and getting involved at the local and state level.
This is our life for the next 2-4 years and it’s going to take everything, but we can beat him.

This is where I really think the character limit is too low.
I’m not saying to not fight back, you should do the opposite. Resist as much as you can, whether you’re a federal worker or just someone who’s debunking propaganda on the internet.

I just remember his first term.
I also remember that republicans have less seats than in 2016. The house can even be flipped in the upcoming special elections in Florida and New York.
I’m scared too. But they don’t have supreme authority yet. Don’t give them power by pretending otherwise.

Additional gripe, the game people are using as the prime example of variety, Elden Ring, reuses assets all the time.
Every Fromsoft game reuse assets from previously games. One could argue it’s why there’s such variety for enemies.

Not to say they aren’t going to make life hell for the next 4 years, or seriously damage our checks and balances, but it’s important to keep things in perspective. Nothing ever lasts, not even the terrors over the horizen.

This is where it’s important to remember that executive orders are not law. More relevantly, they can be blocked by a court order.
It’s ok to be scared, I am as well, but we are pretty much in a war of attrition, where they seek to exhaust us and pretend they have more power than they actually do.

Actually, republicans have less seats in both the house and senate then in 2016.
It’s slim enough that anything too radical won’t get passed without some infighting.
Make no mistake though, they’re going to do a lot of damage, but Trump is not all powerful.
