Today’s scenery reward for getting my run in. It’s definitely getting more pleasant - thankfully!

Running this winter has served up few rewards in the form of nice weather, conditions, or scenery, but I got a nice moment this morning.

This content from four-year-olds is just what my timeline needed.

Election day is so wholesome. Running into so many neighbours as we all head to the polls (at my daughter's school). This time with a side serving of everyone complaining about the sidewalks and weather.

I know a concern from a lot of folks leaving Substack/Twitter/whatever online space is the loss of audience growth, which is a very real concern, but I'll say that I've been seeing good metrics on my newsletter (hosted on Ghost) through Bluesky. Winds are shifting and all that.
