Loved all the data. Is there any data that compares the number of stoplights in Toronto vs. other similar sized cities? BTW in the last 10 years my area near Bloor and Symington has seen about 10 new traffic lights, some completely unasked for.

I tried to find something like that for the article but wasn't successful. I think I would have needed to create it myself from open streets map data but haven't worked with it before and ran out of time.

I really think you are onto something. I honestly believe that in 20 years every street corner in Toronto will have traffic lights. For the record I support bike lanes.
