I just saw a YouTube video that said that morning people were more likely to see The Dress as white & gold, and night people were more likely to see it as blue & black. The psychologist in the video explained that people’s brains filled in the lighting context they’re most used to seeing.

"He wants to see a total collapse of the Canadian economy. Because that will make it easier to annex us." To get his hands on this:

Here's what I know about Canada: One of our most beloved heroes was a stubborn kid who chose to run one-legged across the country until it killed him to show he could. Taking pain is something we lionize and in a state to state conflict, the population that can handle the most pain, wins. #cdnpoli

Skipping out on work today with a cold. Got some bad laryngitis. Can’t customer service with no voice. (Double checked: not covid).

Same. None of that from me.

'twas the night before tariffs and all through the US around 67% of the population realized they were in a huge mess The farmers all counted their potash with fear of a time very soon when it costs an arm and an ear

Well deserved! It’s a beautiful movie 🐈‍⬛

Wow, that’s infuriating actually. It’s like that spot never got any safer :(

I'm sharing an image a day to celebrate the vibrant and unique culture and history of Canada. Today, it is the World's Largest Pysanka in Vegreville, flanked by RCMP Officers. #ProudlyCanadian 📸Ernie's Photo Studio

"You've been chosen," the spirit said. "What?" "Save the world, make it kinder, cleaner, safer." "Me?" "Yes." "Alone?" "We chose everyone." #CrossRepost

Embracing my inner turtle lol. This glitch(?) on the Finch App is hilarious 🐢

First day spring biking. I’d almost take -40°C over all this slushy, slippery spring conditions. At least the ground is solid when it’s cold out 😅

I was so tired after work, I was debating going to juggling club or just going home. But going to juggling club is always the right choice 🤹So much fun😊

This is the corner I try to avoid on my way to work, cuz the entire sidewalk got eaten up by car tracks, making it look like more road. It’s scary to wait on the real sidewalk for the light😬Pedestrians have switched to walking where the grass would be Would you be able to tell where the sidewalk was?

My new plan to get my bike fixed (or maybe replaced?) is to check out my local bike co-op @the-bcbc.bsky.social . I hear they can help teach bike repair stuff. It’s always easier when someone can teach you in person.

My good friend who owns a bike shop out of town agrees,I should just learn to fix my gears instead of going back to the mechanic that was snooty about how old my bike is😑 Everything I read about starting winter biking said, get an old mountain bike. So I did! They made me not feel very welcome there.

Ah Bike to Work Day, the one day I didn’t ride my bike to work cuz I slept in too late, and needed to get a ride instead 🤦‍♀️ d’oh

Props to the costume designers and to Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, for the North of North comedy series. ‘A young Inuk woman in a tiny Arctic village strives to forge her own path, defying societal expectations and gossip in her tight knit community.’ Find it on CBC Gem, APTN…

Sad little blue spots On my sandwich for breakfast After my first bite :( #haiku

Saskatchewan was one of the coldest places on earth today, and this might be the coldest day that Saskatoon sees all year, but there were no public daytime warm-up shelters available for people who are unhoused because it is a stat holiday. Is frostbite what Scott Moe means by Saskatchewan Strong?

You can outrun the cold, but if you stop, it catches up to you 🥶

Suns out, minimal wind. -26°C. Time for a run.
