There's some lore too! Basically, this form gets him more in tune with his fire magic, by turning him completely INTO fire and containing that safely in a soft shell. What this sacrifices in physical strength, it makes up for in attuning him even more strongly to his fiery abilities~

TY! I actually worked out a name for em now: the Ka'nakska. They evolved on a planet with 7x Earth gravity and a thick atmosphere, so they evolved to be large and mostly hollow, pressurising with nutrient gases in the air to sustain themselves. As such, their buoyancy staves off the extreme- (1/2)

Yooooo this is adorable!! I LOVE this colour scheme, the light pinks and purples work really well - definitely digging this pastel-ish, almost cherry-blossom-like palette. Love the background lore too!
